Services

I provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment, including medication management, for adults, with an emphasis on understanding the whole person and developing a treatment plan that fits your needs, goals, and circumstances.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation

$650 · Across two one-hour appointments

A psychiatric evaluation is an opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of what you are experiencing and what may be contributing to it. It may cover your symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, previous treatment, medications, sleep, substance use, relationships, stressors, physical health, and what you hope treatment will accomplish.  I may also collaborate with other providers involved in your care, such as your therapist or physician.

From there, we work together to develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects both the clinical picture and your own priorities and preferences.

Two one-hour sessions provide for a more in-depth assessment and a fuller discussion of any diagnosis, the recommendations, the alternatives, and your questions.

Follow-Up Appointments

$250 / 30 min · $350 / 45 min

Medication can be an important part of psychiatric treatment, but the decision to use it is individualized and made together, with attention to your symptoms, goals, medical history, previous experiences with medication, and the likely benefits and possible drawbacks.

Follow-up appointments reassess symptoms and how you are feeling on the medication, and we decide together whether the plan holds or needs adjusting. They are not only about medication. We also talk about how life is going—work, relationships, sleep, stress, and what has changed since we last met—because that context shapes what treatment should look like.

Non-medication strategies are a vital part of treatment. I offer counseling around sleep, nutrition, and movement, as well as stress management and brief cognitive behavioral techniques, if indicated. Psychotherapy is usually an important component of treatment; I offer it combined with medication management on a case-by-case basis in 45-minute appointments, and frequently recommend trusted psychotherapist colleagues when they are a better fit.

Complimentary 15-Minute Consultation Call

No charge

The call is a chance to briefly discuss what you are looking for, ask initial questions about my practice, and determine whether scheduling an evaluation makes sense.

There is no obligation to schedule.

Treatment Recommendations

A detailed plan, not just a prescription.

The evaluation ends with written recommendations specific to your situation. Depending on what we find, that may include medication, psychotherapy, changes to sleep or daily habits, evidence-based supplements, mindfulness practice, exercise, organizational strategies, further medical workup, or collaboration with another provider — usually some combination.

I explain the reasoning behind each recommendation, what the alternatives are, and what to expect, so we can make decisions together. Medication is never the only recommendation.
